The Amazing Spider-Man: New IMAX 3D Poster and TV Spot

With only a few days to go before The Amazing Spider-Man's North American theatrical debut, Columbia Pictures has released a new IMAX 3D poster and IMAX 3D TV spot to remind fans that ol' web-head will be swinging into IMAX 3D theaters, in addition to traditional 3D theaters, on July 3rd.
The poster is graphically interesting, but doesn't really show us anything we haven't seen before, but the TV spot alludes to the fact that fans might be missing out on something if they see the movie in standard 3D because the ending of the movie was apparently "designed exclusively" for IMAX 3D. Director Marc Webb introduces the TV spot, declaring that The Amazing Spider-Man in IMAX 3D will "totally immerse fans into the world of Spider-Man," but he unfortunately sounds far less passionate — and convincing — talking about the technical benefits of IMAX 3D than he does when talking about title star Andrew Garfield's commitment to the "physical dimension" of playing Peter Parker/Spider-Man.
The Amazing Spider-Man was written by James Vanderbilt and Alvin Sargent. Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Campbell Scott, Annie Parisse, Irrfan Khan, Embeth Davidtz, C. Thomas Howell, Chris Zylka, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field also star.
