New 60-Second Django Unchained Spot Reveals More of Samuel L. Jackson

The first trailers for Django Unchained had nearly everything you would expect from a trailer for a Quentin Tarantino movie: a hot soundtrack (Johnny Cash's "Ain't No Grave" and James Brown's "The Payback"), sharp, witty dialogue ("You had my curiosity, but now you have my attention.") and some kick-ass action but it was sorely missing something that is in nearly every QT movie — Mr. Samuel L. Jackson (he was briefly seen in the international trailer). That omission is corrected in the new spot for Tarantino's "Southern." Yahoo! has the latest promotional footage, which is revealed in a 60-second spot, which features a mean-looking Jackson sporting some eyebrows that only he could pull off.
Set in the pre-Civil War South, Django Unchained follows freed slave Django (Jamie Foxx) and German bounty hunter King Schultz (Christoph Waltz) as they both seek out their individual vengeance mandates. For Django, his mission is to free his wife (Kerry Washington) from the villainous slave owner Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio), and, in order to do that, the unlikely duo will have to find away around the suspicions of Stephen (Jackson), Candie's trusted house slave, who was very briefly revealed in the international trailer, but gets to speak a slightly bigger chunk of seconds in the new spot.
The Django Unchained cast also includes Don Johnson (Machete), Tom Wopat (Dukes of Hazard), James Remar (Warriors, Dexter), James Russo (Public Enemies), Walton Goggins (Predators) and Jonah Hill, who was just recently (re)cast in an unknown role.
