Ron Perlman Reprises Hellboy Role for Make-a-Wish

After director Guillermo del Toro said that studio producers didn't seem "interested in" making a sequel to Hellboy II: The Golden Army, we thought me might never again see Ron Perlman put on the horns and hooves of comic book creator Mike Mignola's most popular creation. But, the tough-guy actor who once complained to del Toro about the six hours in makeup that the part required, has a heart of gold. Perlman recently went through the painstaking process to become the character once more to fulfill one little boy's wish of meeting Hellboy and giving us all one more opportunity to see Hellboy in the (latex) flesh.
Perlman got back into costume to assist special effects and design firm Spectral Motion with fulfilling the wish of a 6-year-old Zachary, who is undergoing treatment for leukemia. Zachary not only got to meet "Hellboy" and dine on a "Hellboy sized meal of burgers, shakes, and fries," but he was also transformed into "Little Hellboy" with the assistance of Spectral Motion's makeup artists.
