Preview 10 Scenes from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey in Massive "Scroll" Banner Poster

The San Diego Comic-Con exclusive poster for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey that director Peter Jackson shared over the weekend was a cool way to remind attendees of the convention that Warner Bros. (WB) will be featuring the movie at its Hall H presentation on Saturday, but many finicky movie fans complained that the image of Gandalf (Sir Ian McKellen) doesn't really reveal anything that we haven't already seen in Jackson's The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Well, the poster was apparently just a tease because only a few days later WB released, via EW, an epic "scroll" poster for The Hobbit that features ten different scenes from the movie, including the first look at the shape-shifter Beorn (played by Mikael Persbrandt).
We've cut the scroll up into pieces to make it easier to view, but if you want to see the poster in its entirety, head over to EW.
The Hobbit was written by Jackson, Guillermo del Toro, Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens and is based on acclaimed fantasy author J.R.R. Tolkien's novel of the same name. Joining McKellen in reprising their roles from The Lord of the Rings trilogy are Elijah Wood as Frodo Baggins, Hugo Weaving as Elrond, Cate Blanchett as Galadriel, Orlando Bloom as Legolas, Sir Christopher Lee as Saruman and Andy Serkis as Gollum (motion-capture). New additions include Sylvester McCoy as the wizard Radagast, Evangeline Lilly as Tauriel, Barry Humphries as the Goblin King, Stephen Fry as the Master of Lake Town, Luke Evans as Bard the Bowman, and Ryan Gage as Alfrid. Playing the dwarves are Richard Armitage as Thorin Oakenshield, Stephen Hunter as Bombur, Ken Stott as Balin, Graham McTavish as Dwalin, James Nesbitt as Bofur, William Kircher as Bifur, Jed Brophy as Nori, Adam Brown as Ori, Mark Hadlow as Dori, John Callen as Óin, Peter Hambleton as Glóin, Aidan Turner as Kili and Dean O'Gorman as Fili.
