Jennifer Garner and Joel Edgerton Talk The Odd Life of Timothy Green

Disney's upcoming fable The Odd Life of Timothy Green may be one of the more unusual family movies the studio has released in recent memory, but star Joel Edgerton assured Reelz that the movie is not unlike some of the classic movies of yesteryear.
The Odd Life really harkens back to, like, magic, real movies like E.T., Big and It's a Wonderful Life. It's about a couple who have everything but the thing that they most want which is to have a child. The universe kind of provides that child for them in the form of this boy who grows out of the garden.
While the first trailer of The Odd Life was released a year ago, the cast have not forgotten about how well they got along together on-set. Edgerton admitted that his co-star Jennifer Garner was one of the nicest people that he'd worked with, to which Garner responded that she couldn't "think of anyone" that she'd rather have in that role other than Edgerton. We're sure she thinks the same of C.J. Adams, who plays Timothy in the movie.
Based on an idea by Disney principal Ahmet Zappa, The Odd Life of Timothy Green was written and directed by Academy Award–nominated Peter Hedges (Dan in Real Life, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape?). Dianne Wiest and M. Emmet Walsh co-star.
