It has been over two decades since Michael J. Fox has starred in a family sitcom, but the actor is attached to star as a dad in an upcoming television comedy. The show has been pitched to the major networks, with ABC, NBC and CBS all reportedly very interested.
In a recent interview with Jay Leno, Kelsey Grammer discussed his recent snub. The actor won a Golden Globe for his performance on the Starz show Boss, but he failed to get a nod for this year's Primetime Emmy Awards. Grammer surmised that perhaps the reason for the snub is because he is an "out of the closet Republican in Hollywood." Leno offered an alternative hypothesis that the actor was not nominated because Starz is a difficult network to find.
