There was a lot of new-baby buzz when news of Reese Witherspoon heading to a hospital was reported, but it turns out that there's no baby yet. While the expecting mom did visit a hospital Tuesday, she was still preggers when she was released. A source told The Daily Mail that "all parties involved are healthy and fine." The actress is reportedly due early next month.
Celine Dion is taking most of it off for V. The usually modestly dressed singer posed for pics wearing skin-tight shiny black pants and no top for the magazine's upcoming travel issue. If a topless Celine is not enough to entice you to buy the magazine, perhaps Nicole Kidman's cheeks on the fold-out front cover will seal the deal.
Though it was always assumed that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson would both attend the red carpet premiere of this fall's Breaking Dawn - Part 2, rumor has it that RPattz is going to man up and walk side by side with Stewart, despite their recent break up. Four-year-old Vivienne Jolie-Pitt has landed a new gig. The tot will work alongside her mom, Angelina Jolie, in Maleficent. Vivienne will play a small role as the child version of Princess Aurora, while her mother is, of course, the title character in the Sleeping Beauty retelling.
In holy-crap-how-do-you-get-tickets news, J.K. Rowling will make one in-person appearance in the US to promote her new novel The Casual Vacancy. Tickets will go on sale on Sept 10 for around $40, and we are estimating that the event will be sold out about 82 seconds after tickets are available.
Taylor Swift has broken a new record. The singer-songwriter's new song, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" sold 623,000 downloads last week. That gives her the biggest digital sales week ever for a female artist. The previous record was held by Ke$sha whose "Tik Tok" sold 610,000 in one week.
