NBC Chooses Kardashian Momager Breast Discussion over 9/11 Moment of Silence
09.12.12 by reelz
A strong backlash against NBC was started yesterday when Today opted to forgo a moment of silence observed for 9/11, and instead aired an interview with Kardashian momager Kris Jenner. To make matters worse, the topic of the conversation was Jenner’s breast augmentation. Other networks, including ABC, CNN, CBS, Fox News and MSNBC, chose observing the moment of silence rather than discussing boobies. Though the network won't apologize for the decision to air the interview as it was scheduled, NBC did insert coverage of the moment of silence in the West Coast feed of the show.
