Extreme Fans: Shot for Shot Remake of the Man of Steel Trailer

It's becoming customary for comic book movie trailers to receive a fan-made, "sweded" version after release — i.e. recreations that use household- props and costumes as originally seen in 2008's Be Kind Rewind. Last month, Iron Man 3 became the latest movie to receive a sweded trailer, but when the second trailer for Man of Steel was released earlier this month, we figured it was only a matter of time before a fan decided to give it the sweded treatment, recreating the trailer shot-for-shot using only an iPhone and whatever they had at their disposal.
As usual, the attention to detail, despite the lack of CGI effects of a movie-seized budget, is impressive, with the only creative license taken when showing the title cards for director Zack Snyder, who is listed as the director of the poorly received Sucker Punch instead of Watchmen and 300 as he is in the real trailer, and producer Christopher Nolan, who is listed as the director of Doodlebug, the 3-minute short he directed in 1997 instead of The Dark Knight trilogy.
For reference, the fans of DustFilms Originals have created a side-by-side comparison of the actual Man of Steel trailer and the sweded one. Check it out below.
