"Your whole sense of reality is...pretty warped."
Journey through time and space with an astronaut who discovers the importance of human contact and love after finding himself stranded on a space station.
The Flick: Love (formerly I-Empire)
The Skinny: Produced and scored by the alt-rock band Angels and Airwaves, Love is the directorial debut of cinematographer William Eubank (Knowing). It premiered to sold-out shows at the 26th Annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival and spent most of 2011 touring the festival circuit. Angels & Airwaves released a box set containing the movie, the movie soundtrack, Love Part I and their fourth studio album, Love Part II in November 2011.
The Players: Gunner Wright (J. Edgar) stars as Lee Miller, an astronaut who loses contact with Earth and finds himself stranded aboard the International Space Station. Alone and increasingly claustrophobic, with life support systems fading, Wright struggles to maintain his sanity. The discovery of a journal written by a Union soldier (Bradley Horne) during the Civil War provides Miller with a distraction from his predicament and a mystery to solve.
