"Kane is coming."
True Justice season two premieres Friday, January 4th at 9 Eastern/8 Pacific and it barely takes a breath before the heart-pounding action starts.
While it’s nice to know the ins and outs of what happened in the first season of a series, the only thing anyone new to True Justice really needs to know is that there’s going to be plenty of action, lots of explosions, and a plethora of beatdowns courtesy of Steven Seagal’s Elijah Kane. For those who still want a quick recap of the end of the first season, check out the short synopsis after the jump.
Season one began with a ring of violent heroin dealers descending on Seattle, and Elijah Kane (Seagal) took on the job of assembling a crack team of law enforcers to take down the bad guys. Included on his team were newbie Sarah Montgomery (Sarah Lind), the fiery and tough Juliet (Meghan Ory), the cocky and volatile Brett Radner (Warren Christie), and the always-by-the-book Andre Mason (William "Big Sleeps" Stewart). It didn't take long before they all came together to bring down the kingpin, Nikoli Putin (Gil Bellows), and get him behind bars. After several more episodes worth of bad guys being taken in and Kane administering true justice whenever he saw fit, Nikoli is finally headed to trial, and Kane and his team are preparing to testify against the drug lord. That’s when Nikoli’s men target Kane's team, figuring that dead men will tell no tales. When the dust clears, it’s only Kane, Sarah, and Andre that are left standing, and now Kane is out to seek his revenge.
Season two sees Kane tracking an elusive underworld figure called "The Ghost" who may be the one behind the hit on his team. Methodically, and brutally, working through various baddies, will Kane and his new team of off-the-books operatives be able to take down "The Ghost"? Tune in tonight.
