"Sometimes the longshots pay off the biggest."
The 2005 comedy Wedding Crashers marked the first pairing of actors Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn, which became a huge hit, earning $285 million in worldwide box office. Strangely, the two actors had yet to reunite until the upcoming The Internship, which posits the duo as as two unemployed 40-somethings that get internships at Google (which apparently did NOT fund the movie despite its presence in the poster, first image and, now, its first trailer).
Despite taking a break from appearing together, The Internship feels like familiar territory for Vaughn and Wilson, but that probably won't be a problem for their fans.
Co-written by Vaughn (along with The Watch screenwriter Jared Stern), The Internship was directed by Shawn Levy (Date Night, Night at the Museum) and co-stars Rose Byrne (Bridesmaids, X-Men: First Class).
