Lady Gaga Heads For Surgery, Alt-J Compose Movie Score, Christian Bale Attempts Everest And Alec Baldwin Defends Himself

Pop diva, Lady Gaga, has had to cancel her tour due to a hip injury. The singer has been left in intense pain after suffering a labral tear of the right hip, which will require surgery to fix: “Going into surgery now. Thank you so much for sending me love and support. I will be dreaming of you," Gaga tweeted this morning.
Alt-J, three time BRIT-nominated and Mercury award winners, will be broadening their skills to include movies scores, THR reports. The talented group will be collaborating with director Bruce Goodison to compose a soundtrack for movie Leave To Remain starring Toby Jones.
Christian Bale is set to star in a based on true-life movie about the three crews who tried to climb Everest in 1996 but who got caught in a freak storm. As a result eight climbers were killed. The role of Bale has not yet been revealed but the disaster movie will be directed by Baltsasar Kormáku (The Deep, Contraband.)
Alec Baldwin is defending allegations that he did not shout a series of racial slurs to a New York Post photographer. "The claim of racist remarks is one of the most outrageous things I've heard in my life," Baldwin stated.
