Meg Tilly and Bomb Girls Were Big Winners at the Canadian Screen Awards

Congratulations to the exciting, historical-drama series Bomb Girls for recognition at the 2013 Canadian Screen Awards. Meg Tilly took home Best Performance by an Actress in a Continuing Leading Dramatic Role for her portrayal of factory matron, Lorna Corbett. The drama series also saw Joanne Hansen collect Best Costume Design for her remarkable work on wardrobe, and Aidan Leroux earned Best Production Design or Art Direction in a Fiction Program or Series for the episode “Jumping Tracks.” Demonstrating the talent involved in the series, Bomb Girl’s Peter Outerbridge (Bob Corbett) also picked up Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Supporting Role in a Dramatic Program or Series for his work in John A.: Birth of a Country.
