JFK: The Smoking Gun: Has the Shocking Crime Finally Been Solved?
08.01.13 by reelz
The assassination of John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963 has been one of the most investigated crimes in history. Alongside the official Warren Commission report, the assassination has sparked numerous conspiracy theories. Many of these theories suggest that there was a second person involved in the assassination plot alongside assumed gunman Lee Harvey Oswald.
Now a fascinating, investigative docudrama JFK: The Smoking Gun adds another theory to the mix; there was a second killer that day, but rather than being a coordinated conspiracy, the second shot was a tragic, unintentional accident and the real conspiracy was the cover-up that followed.
JFK: The Smoking Gun is based on the work of veteran Police Detective Colin McLaren who spent four years on the cold-case investigation of JFK’s assassination. With new technology at his disposal and access to all the evidence, facts and eyewitness testimony, McLaren believes he has managed to solve the shocking crime; finding the “smoking gun” which killed the president and identified the killer.
The explosive, two-hour docudrama will share its world premiere in the U.S. on REELZ November 3rd, 2013.
