5. Antique Diamond Ring
One lucky lady came into the pawn shop wanting $13,000 for this stunning diamond antique ring after receiving it as a gift for her work as a radio personality on tour. Little did she realize that she was the owner of a pure, upper color range diamond mounted on an original art deco base worth a great deal more. Try $97,000 more. That’s right, Dominique offered her $110,000. Phwoar. We wish our work was as generous as that.
4. Harry Winston Necklace
Next on our list is this gorgeous Harry Winston necklace bought into the store by Jaimie Hilfiger. Comprised of at least 50 carats and dating back to the 1950s or '60s, Tommy Hilfiger’s lucky niece received the exquisite item as a high school graduation present and had no idea how much it was worth. Wanting to pawn the family heirloom in order to start a Kim Kardashian-esque empire, Jamie is well on her way with the $200,000 Yossi offered her. She was sure one happy customer.
3. Diamond Lily Pins
These exquisite yellow diamond lily pins are beautiful and one-of-a-kind all on their own. But if you managed to catch the episode they featured in you’ll know they have an even higher emotional value. A caring grandson bought the jewels in on the request of his grandmother who received them by his grandfather on her wedding day. After wearing them every day since, she was too sad to keep them after he passed away. On closer inspection Dominique discovered that they are custom-made’ his and her’ pins and offered $120,000. But will Aria manage not to cry when she sells them?
2. Liz Taylor's Brooch
We are almost at a loss for words with this piece. Owned and designed by Elizabeth Taylor herself the stunning brooch boasts 32 carats of amethyst, 2 carats of diamonds and extremely rare pink pearls. Yossi Dina knew just the women for the unique piece and sold it for $24,000. That’s a pretty good deal.
1. Gold Buccellati Purse
This magnificent Buccellati number, made out of at least 42 ounces of gold and with a diamond embellished clasp makes it a purse fit for a princess. So, of course, Yossi found a princess: Princess Inge of Amsterdam. No negotiation was needed, the princess fell in love immediately and Yossi got the desired $150,000. Yup, $150,000 for a handbag.
