Who Should Replace Hardwicke on New Moon?

Twilight lived up to some pretty lofty expectations, so the news that its director, Catherine Hardwicke, has flown the coop is rather disheartening. Hopefully, the film's success will mean that Summit can raise the bar even higher when it seeks out a helmer for the highly anticipated sequel. Of course, the sheer abundance of gun-for-hire hacks roaming the streets of Hollywood is enough to make any Twilight fan's skin stop sparkling.
So who should direct Twilight's more-demanding, more-expensive sequel, New Moon? Alfonso Cuaron, who elevated the Harry Potter franchise from Chris Columbus' jumbled beginnings to the dark, superior third movie, Prisoner of Azkaban, would seem the perfect choice. He's got a consistently busy schedule, but he might be willing to rearrange if Summit makes an offer he can't refuse. Sofia Coppola could use a resurgence after the disappointing Marie Antoinette and has experience working with younger casts, though the auteur does tend to lean towards artier fare.
Whatever happens, let's just cross our fingers that Paul W.S. Anderson and Brett Ratner are unavailable.
