Hurwitz Optimistic About Arrested Development Flick, Cera Not So Much

Last week, writer/exec producer Mitch Hurwitz told Variety that he was "really optimistic" about the long-dreamed-of Arrested Development movie, saying that a deal was "more or less in place from Fox Searchlight."
Now-A-List star Michael Cera, however, doesn't seem to share that optimism. Talking to MTV News at Sundance, Cera said the film was "more hypothetical than people think" and that there was no script. "I'd possibly play the part, I'd possibly put the script in my shredder," he said, half jokingly, about the possibility of our seeing George Michael on the big screen. It's been rumored that Cera is the lone holdout amongst the original cast, and judging by this latest convo, that's a rumor he's not interested in dispelling.
