Harrison Ford Talks About Indiana Jones 5
01.11.10 by Ryan
Harrison Ford admitted months ago that he, George Lucas, and Steven Spielberg are all agreed on the story for Indiana Jones 5. Lucas is busy putting together the story, while Ford told MTV what he would like to see in a sequel.
I think it would be interesting to advance the understanding of the character, as we always have had that ambition throughout the series. I think it would be interesting to deepen the relationship between he and his son [Mutt, played by Shia LaBeouf] and play on that relationship. It's full of opportunity. The series is full of opportunity.
Ford wouldn't elaborate on Lucas' idea for the next sequel, although he previously described it as it "crazy but great" to the LA Times. Still, Ford admits he doesn't mind "crazy."
Some of the best ideas are crazy ideas, you know? Well-wrought, well-manipulated.
Ford would like to have Karen Allen return as well.
I think [scenes with a married Indy and Marion] would be nice grace notes. We'll see what we come up with. Karen's a wonderful actress, I've always enjoyed working with her. I'm hoping that there'll be a part for all of us in the next one.
