Ben Affleck Admits Daredevil Kinda Sucked

News that a Daredevil reboot is in the works wasn't entirely surprising given the number of reboots of late. However, it was a little unusual, considering the 2003 movie failed to inspire sequels and create a franchise outside of the poorly received Elektra spin-off.
Ben Affleck, who played lawyer-turned-superhero Matt Murdock, recently admitted to MTV that the movie wasn't as good as it should have been.
Well, I think we missed a lot in that movie, but I think [Daredevil was] before they really kind of figured out how to do [superhero movies] right. Now they've become "A" movies, and they've been embraced in a way that they
weren't totally. Although they made some good ones. Now they dedicate these kind of resources and focus to them in a way that's ... because audiences have really have come out. And they demand a level of quality from them, as well they should, that is no less than the very best.
From the content of the interview, it doesn't appear like Affleck will be donning the magenta-hued leather jumpsuit of the blind superhero in the upcoming reboot. So far, David Scarpa has been hired to write the script for the reboot, but no cast or director has been announced.
