Robert Rodriguez Says Sin City 2 Could Happen "Very Soon"

It's been five years since director Robert Rodriguez brought comic book visionary Frank Miller's series of bloody crime noir graphic novels to life in the faithfully-stylized Sin City movie, and fans have been clamoring for a sequel ever since. Considering Sin City made a hefty profit at the box office, and with a Miller script in hand since 2007, you would think that Rodriguez would already be well on his way to making Sin City 2. However, back in December, Rodriguez said that, because of the passage of time, fan expectations have "built up so much," that the script had to be revisited to make sure that it was "really going to satisfy everybody."
Now, it appears as if Sin City 2 could be just around the corner. In a recent interview with MTV from the South By Southwest Film Conference and Festival, where Rodriguez introduced a first look at his latest production, Predators, the filmmaker said that he was "about to get a new script" from Miller and that Sin City 2 could go into production "very soon."
