Thor (and Stan Lee) Approve of Chris Evans as Captain America

Fan reaction has been somewhat mixed since the news broke that Chris Evans had accepted the title role in The First Avenger: Captain America, but there are a few significant people who approved of the news. Chris Hemsworth, who plays the title role in the upcoming Thor and will eventually get to fight alongside Evans in The Avengers, told MTV that he thought the casting of Evans was "fantastic". (And even though Evans played Johnny Storm in the two Fantastic Four movies, we're pretty sure he didn't mean the comment ironically.)
He's great. He's got a ton of charisma, and he's a bloke, and I think he has all the points to pull that off.
But Hemsworth wasn't the only person to publicly announce his approval. Stan Lee took to his Twitter account to praise the Evans hiring.
Wow! I've been besieged with emails ever since it was announced Chris Evans is gonna play Cap't. America on the big screen! Before you either pat me on the back or berate me regarding Chris, let me say I have nothing to do with Marvel's casting. Now, my opinion-
I met Chris during the FF shoot. He's good-looking, plenty buff, really smart, has a great personality and is a fine actor.
If you think Chris isn't right for Capt. America, remember what most fans said when they first heard about Tob[e]y [Maguire] playing Spider-Man!
Creator approved! Now if only Marvel will make the casting official. But then they took their time officially announcing Hemsworth, as well.
