First Look at Tarsem Singh's Immortals

Another greek mythology epic à la Clash of the Titans is on its way from Indian director Tarsem Singh (The Cell, The Fall). Originally called War of the Gods and now changed to Immortals, the movie stars Henry Cavill as Theseus and Mickey Rourke as villain King Hyperion — both included in new "first look" photos.
To be released by Universal Studios late in 2011, Immortals follows warrior prince Theseus as he leads men into battle against imprisoned Titans in order to save mankind. Singh had the following to say.
The Gods are like superheroes so we can kind of like Batman does, not Superman, where you jump from up high and not get hurt when landing down. But he can't fly up. So we have the same definition for Gods ... The movie's got fantastical fighting ... brutal and two people in a confined space.... It's turning into, basically, Caravaggio meets Fight Club. It's a really hardcore action film done in Renaissance painting style. I want to see how that goes; it's turned into something really cool.
Wait. Wouldn't the Gods be more like Superman than Batman? We're confused. Maybe Singh has "reimagined" the Greek Gods? Guess we'll have to wait to find out.
Immortals also stars Freida Pinto (seen in pic) as Phaedra, Stephen Dorff as Stavros, Kellan Lutz as Poseidon, Luke Evans as Zeus, John Hurt as Old Zeus, and Isabel Lucas as Athena.
