Final Destination 5 Gets Lamest Title Ever

The makers of the fifth Final Destination movie have titled their sequel with a name that sets new heights of ridiculousness. While the fourth Final Destination eschewed having a number in its title, preferring The Final Destination (and the transparent illusion that the movie would be the last of the franchise), according to Bloody-Disgusting, the fifth Destination movie will be titled 5nal Destination ("five-nal destination?" asks anyone who can read). The title is, thankfully, tentative.
The report also suggests that the opening disaster of 5nal Destination involves the collapse of a suspension bridge. Each Destination involved a group of young adults who escape a fatal calamity, just to be hunted down by Death anyway. Like The Final Destination, 5nal Destination will be shot in 3-D, opening August 26, 2011. A Nightmare on Elm Street screenwriter Eric Heisserer wrote the script which looks to bring the franchise back to basics and will be directed by James Cameron-protege, Steven Quale.
