Director George Miller is heading back to Australia to shoot his fourth Mad Max movie, titled Mad Max: Fury Road, but could a fifth movie already be in the works? TwitchFilm reports that Miller is planning to shoot two Mad Max movies back-to-back.
Twitch has just learned that George Miller is working on not one but TWO new Mad Max films, slated to be shot back to back. The title already known to the public is Mad Max: Fury Road and word is that Fury Road will be followed immediately by Mad Max: Furiosa. The two films will reportedly be shot back to back for rapid release.
While the report is unconfirmed at this time, British actor Tom Hardy, who is stepping into the iconic role, recently admitted that production on Fury Road will run "probably nine months" which is longer than the average shooting schedule and could be enough time to account for two movies.
