Leonardo DiCaprio and Ridley Scott to Take on The Wolf of Wall Street

No, The Wolf of Wall Street isn't a sequel to Oliver Stone's Wall Street, nor is it a remake of 2002's Wolves of Wall Street, which followed young stockbrokers
who became werewolves (without ever actually turning into one). Instead it's an adaptation of Jordan Belfort's memoir of stockbroker decadence in the 1990s. Deadline reports that Ridley Scott is in early negotiations to direct Leonardo DiCaprio in the adaptation, from a script by Terry Winter.
Two years ago, Martin Scorsese was set to direct the movie, but Scorsese and DiCaprio made Shutter Island instead.
When The Wolf of Wall Street will be made is the only question. DiCaprio is set to star in Clint Eastwood's Hoover biopic, while Scott is planning a 3D prequel to his 1979 sci-fi classic, Alien.
