Mirrors 2 Synopsis and Trailer
08.09.10 by BJSprecher
Even though director Alexandre Aja's 2008 horror movie, Mirrors, was brutalized by critics and didn't quite earn back its $35 million production budget at the domestic box office, it took in an additional $46 million internationally, which was apparently enough to warrant a sequel, albeit a direct-to-DVD sequel. Based on the concepts first developed in the 2003 Korean movie Into the Mirror, Mirrors 2 was directed by Victor Garcia (Return to House on Haunted Hill) and stars Nick Stahl, William Katt, Emmanuelle Vaugier, and Stephanie Honore.
What's it about? Here's the movie's official synopsis.
When Max (Stahl), a recovering addict, takes a job as a night time security guard job at his father’s (Katt) department store, he begins to see visions of a young woman in the store’s mirrors. Unsure whether his visions are side effects of his prescription sleeping pills or actual reality, he begins to look deeper into the source of the images in the mirrors. When employees of the store turn up dead and Max is a suspect in the murders, he must expose the girl’s connection to a scandal within the department store’s walls in order to prove his innocence and put a stop to the spirits in the mirrors.
