Bruce Willis and John Malkovich to Shoot 60 More Seconds of RED
08.21.10 by Ryan
The comic book adaptation of Red isn't far from its October 15 release date, but director Robert Schwentke is bringing cast members Bruce Willis and John Malkovich out to Louisiana to shoot some more.
The director isn't filming reshoots (usually considered a sign of trouble) or new scenes (usually considered a sign of big trouble), but a mere 60 seconds of additional footage to be used at the end of the credits.
According to THR, the additional footage who play retired operatives brought out of retirement after Willis is attacked by an assassin and almost killed. The scene could still not make into the final movie as Schwentke and crew are still "tinkering" with the movie.
Based on the comic book by Warren Ellis and Cully Hamner, RED also stars Morgan Freeman, and Helen Mirren, Mary-Louise Parker, Karl Urban, Brian Cox, Richard Dreyfuss, and Ernest Borgnine.
