Leaked Concept Art from New Voltron Movie Adaptation

It's been more than two years since it was announced that the shape-changing robots of the Transformers movie franchise were getting some big screen competition in the form of their old '80s cartoon rivals, the lion-shaped robots that combine to form the super-robot known as Voltron. Producers Mark Gordon and Jordan Wynn were behind the project, titled Voltron: Defender of the Universe, with Justin Marks scripting. Apparently things didn't pan out and the movie was scrapped. Now, however, the Voltron movie might be getting back on track, with a new production team and new writers.
According to JoBlo, Atlas Entertainment is spearheading the push for a live-action Voltron movie and they have hired Joshua Oppenheimer and Thomas Dean Donnelly, the screenwriting duo behind the new Conan movie, to write the script. JoBlo even posted three very cool pieces of concept art from the project that were supposedly leaked by a "trusted source" inside the production. The concept art is by Andree Wallin, the artist who collaborated with Joseph Kosinski (Tron: Legacy) on the 128-page illustrated sci-fi novel, Oblivion, which Disney is developing into a live-action movie.
