New Saw 3D Stills Get Back to the Traps

The latest trailer released for the upcoming Saw 3D was solely focused on reminding audiences that the movie would be in 3-D, so for those more interested in the traps that are said to "come alive" in the movie, Lionsgate has released several new images.
CinemaBlend has posted 5 new photos, including a foreboding pic of Costas Mandylor as Jigsaw's successor, Detective Hoffman; a shot of director Kevin Greutert on set; and two photos of what looks like newcomer-to-the-franchise Sean Patrick Flanery escaping from a trap and calming another victim.
OfficialSAW also grabbed some new photos, including another one of Flanery attempting escape and a shot of the returning Dr. Gordon (Cary Elwes).
Greutert also spoke to OfficialSAW about the movie, which is reportedly the last chapter in the franchise. Greutert explained the reason behind ending the Saw series.
We would like to go out with a bang, not a whimper, so everyone has agreed to decree SAW 3D the final chapter. No one wants to see the series deteriorate in quality, as is often the case when something good goes on for too long.
While some may be surprised that the Saw series is still ongoing, Gruetert claimed that Saw fans aren't just your typical horror movie fans.
At this point I have met hundreds of SAW fans, and they don't fall into easy categories. Many are almost too young to watch the films without parental supervision, but some are middle aged, and occasionally even older. They come from all countries, ethnicities, and walks of life. On top of the love of being scared by movies, they tend to enjoy having fun with each other as well, whether they're sparring over arcane details of the series, dressing up like SAW characters, or just goofing around.
