More Cast Rumored for Men in Black 3 Amidst Delays

Production on Men in Black III was set to begin in September, but two delays have shut down production until mid-November. While a source told The New York Post that the delay was caused by "fighting" between star Will Smith, director Barry Sonnenfeld, and the producers, a representative from Sony Pictures offered the publication a different reason for the delay.
The only reason production will begin in mid-November as opposed to late October is to take advantage of recent changes affecting New York State film incentives. Suggesting that a disagreement triggered the shift is complete fiction.
The delay will give some new, rumored cast members time to learn their lines. According to Pajiba, a source claims that Alec Baldwin, Gemma Arterton (Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time), Sharlto Copley (The A-Team), and singer Nicole Scherzinger are in negotiations for roles in the upcoming sequel, which will see Smith travel back in time, with Josh Brolin playing a younger version of Tommy Lee Jones' character of Kay.
The report states that Baldwin will play the boss of the MiB in 1969, with Arterton as a MiB secretary. Copley will play a fast-talking alien, while Scherzinger will appear in a cameo as the girlfriend of the alien villain (Jemaine Clement).
Etan Cohen (Tropic Thunder) and David Koepp wrote the script for Men in Black III, which will also star Emma Thompson as the modern-day boss of the MiB. Production is set to run through February.
