Visit the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Set on This Week's Spotlight

On this week's Harry Potter Spotlight, you'll see footage of ReelzChannel correspondent Jeremy Parsons' trip to England to visit the Deathly Hallows set on the very last day of filming. Get a sneak peek at the show with this week's Muggle Minute, as well as a look at the famous King's Cross platform in Jeremy's latest blog.
Our final famous Harry Potter movie location took us out of Oxford, back to London. We visited King's Cross Station — a very busy train hub in the thick of the city. This is the spot where Harry and friends cross over to the other world at 9-3/4 landing. You know the scene in Sorcerer's Stone where Harry learns how to get on to the platform?
This has become such a popular destination for Potter fans that they have actually set up a photo-op in the station with a cart protruding halfway out of a brick wall, and a sign that indicates 9 3/4 landing. I couldn't resist taking a photo or two with my tour guide Jonathan — trying our hardest to push through the wall into the magical world of wizards!
Jonathan explained that filmmakers actually shot some scenes in the main boarding area in the upstairs section of the station, where we were taking the photos. We then went downstairs to another boarding area and found a brick lined post on a landing that looked very similar to the one Harry crosses through in the movie. We probably made a fool of ourselves as we set up a little shot with our crew to create the illusion that we were disappearing into the wall...
The glares of the conductors and railway staff prompted us back up to the main street pretty quickly.
King's cross station was a great ending to a fantastic tour of Harry Potter locations, through Oxford and London.
Now I'm looking forward to the movie more than ever...
