Kirsten Dunst Offers Spider-Man Advice to Emma Stone

Kirsten Dunst played love interest Mary Jane Watson in all
three Spider-Man movies directed by Sam Raimi, though she won't appear in director Marc Webb's upcoming Spider-Man reboot. In an interview with MTV, the actress offered some advice for Emma Stone, who will play Gwen Stacy in the movie.
Get used to acting to nothing. [There is] a lot of that. Swinging, and acting to nothing.
While she won't be in any more Spider-Man movies, she told PopcornBiz that's she proud of the original trilogy.
I felt like what we had during those films was so special, me and Tobey [Maguire] and Sam — It was such a unique experience. It was these independent minds and actors, and we were making this huge film, and it’s great. All these kids are such huge fans, and to be part of a movie like that is very special, especially a good franchise. So to end on three, I think is the perfect way to leave it.
The reboot comes after Raimi left a planned fourth installment, which would have reunited the director with Dunst, who admitted that she felt "like it was time" for her run as Mary Jane to end. Dunst has no bitterness towards the Spider-Man reboot, however, and plans to watch the movie when it opens on July 3, 2012.
Of course I’m going to see the movie! Yeah, of course! I like Andrew Garfield so much as an actor, and Emma Stone, so I think they’ll be great in the new version.
