Teaser Trailer for Hop Debuts

It's hard to imagine Russell Brand as the lead in a family movie, but the English actor is voicing the Easter Bunny in the upcoming Hop. The movie's from Despicable Me producer Chris Melednadri's Illumination Entertainment, where Brand must have a good relationship after voicing the character of Dr. Nefario in Despicable Me.
Brand's voice is nowhere to be found in the teaser trailer, which instead has the hipster Easter Bunny character drumming along to the 1997 hit "Song 2" from English rock band Blur, perhaps reflective of Brand's real-life musical tastes. (What, no Katy Perry song was available?)
Here's the movie's synopsis, not reflected in the trailer.
Blending state-of-the-art animation with live action, Hop tells the comic tale of Fred (James Marsden), an out-of-work slacker who accidentally injures the Easter Bunny (voiced by Russell Brand) and must take him in as he recovers. As Fred struggles with the world's worst houseguest, both will learn what it takes to finally grow up.
Tim Hill directed the movie, which may or may not get the same audience as Hill's previous directorial efforts, 2007's Alvin and the Chipmunks and 2006's Garfield: A Tale of Two Kitties, both of which blended live-action and animation (with a great deal of patience to watch). Hop releases April 1, 2011. Seriously.
