Robert De Niro In Favor of More Fockers

Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers sequel Little Fockers opened to terrible reviews but still won first place at the box office on its opening weekend, and Robert De Niro is ready for more. De Niro told The Press Association that he'd like to make even more sequels.
"I enjoyed it. If we did another one or two, I'm fine with that — I'd love to. Everybody has to get up to speed and want to do it and then it happens.
De Niro explained what is so appealing about playing the part of Jack Byrnes, the retired CIA agent and suspicious father-in-law of Ben Stiller.
I like Jack because he's fun to play and I like the other characters. And it's very satisfying when you come up with a character that everybody likes and with this film it was great because everyone was coming up with good ideas for the characters and the situations and that's fun to do.
I think that people can recognize these characters because they are based on a truth and the story is based on real situations even when it gets a little out there. Jack is just very protective of his daughter and his family and everyone knows that feeling.
Little Fockers is still in theaters and, so far, has made $95 million worldwide. Should Little Fockers continue to make money, it's hard to believe that another Fockers isn't a few years away.
