Forget the Oscars, What Movies Are on the Razzies Shortlist?

The Golden Globe nominations are already out, and the Oscar nominations are forthcoming, but what about the Razzies — the awards show that celebrates the worst Hollywood has to offer? The LA Times reports that the nominating lists for the Razzies have been sent out and the shortlist for worst picture contains the following movies: The Bounty Hunter, Clash of the Titans, The Expendables, Grown Ups, Jonah Hex, Killers, The Last Airbender, Little Fockers, Sex and the City 2, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Vampires Suck, and Yogi Bear. (Keep your fingers crossed When in Rome, The Back-Up Plan, and Gulliver's Travels, you might still make it!)
For those wondering why Burlesque missed the list, never fear: The musical is a finalist for 5 Razzies, including worst director (Steve Antin), worst screenplay (Antin and Diablo Cody), worst supporting actor (Cam Gigandet), worst supporting actress (Kristen Bell and Cher), and worst actress (Christina Aguilera). Ironically, Burlesque is nominated for two Golden Globes, including "Best Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy."
In the acting categories, Jessica Alba's entire 2010 output (Little Fockers, The Killer Inside Me, Machete, and Valentine's Day) is eligible for the worst supporting actress category, while Emily Blunt is up for both The Wolfman and Gulliver's Travels in the same category.
George Lopez is up for the worst supporting actor for the trifecta of Valentine's Day, Marmaduke, and The Spy Next Door. Mickey Rourke could steal Lopez's statue for either Iron Man 2 or The Expendables, while Angelina Jolie could be awarded the distinction of winning both a Golden Globe and a Razzie for her performance in The Tourist. Last year, Sandra Bullock was awarded both an Oscar and a Razzie, but for two different movies.
The Razzies — short for the Golden Raspberry Awards — are also adding a new category this year: "worst eye-gouging misuse of 3-D." Piranha 3D, The Nutcracker in 3D, and Resident Evil: Afterlife are among those movies that could earn a nomination.
The final list for the 2010 Razzies will be announced on January 24.
