Rollin' with National Treasure's Justin Bartha

Though it might sound like some kind of wacky Ben Stiller comedy, Holy Rollers, about a group of Hasidic Jewish youths peddling Ecstasy in mid-'90's Brooklyn, is actually based on a true story.
"I like to call it the Jewish Mean Streets," Rollers star Justin Bartha told Reelz.com last week, referencing Martin Scorsese's gritty 1973 tale. "It's like Jew Streets. Myself and Jesse Eisenberg are gonna play young Hasidic Jews in Brooklyn. If you look at Mean Streets, he'd be the Harvey Keitel character and I would be De Niro."
Holy Rollers will commence shooting next spring with an eye toward a 2009 release. Bartha can next be seen alongside Nicolas Cage, Jon Voight and Diane Kruger in National Treasure: Book of Secrets, which opens tomorrow.
