James Bond 23 Name Revealed?
01.21.11 by Chris
After it looked like James Bond was going to succumb to his biggest nemesis ever (MGM's bankruptcy) but was saved just at the last minute, an appropriate title for the 23rd installment of the most successful movie franchise in history could have been Better Late than Never.
But now there are rumors that James Bond's next adventure will be called Red Sky at Night. And you thought Quantum of Solace was bad.
Though it has to be pointed out that the source of the new title comes from the British tabloid The Sun, which is less reliable than anything in Q's laboratory.
According to the tabloid, the title comes from an old sailor's rhyme:
Red sky at night, sailor's delight. Red sky at morning, sailor take warning.
The Sun also rehashed the rumor that Rachel Weisz
will have a role in the new 007 movie, though probably not as a Bond girl. There's talk that Weisz could actually be Bond's first real female "mastermind" villain. However Weisz is involved, it will be interesting, given the fact that she's romantically connected
to Daniel Craig
Red Sky at Night or whatever the 23rd 007 movie will be called is scheduled for a late 2012 release. Sam Mendes is set to direct. It's worth noting that the James Bond franchise will turn 50 that year. 50 years and still looks good in a tux. .
