By this time, when you hear "Adam Sandler comedy" you pretty much know what you're in for. Combine with "Jennifer Aniston rom-com" and there is a high likelihood of it really sucking.
"It sounds all kinds of nonsensical, but if you're willing to suspend your sense of disbelief and just go with it, it actually kind of works."
— Ande Dagan, E! Online
"Ultimately, it's a mainstream romantic comedy, so you'll know the characters' next moves a half-hour before they do. And there's not a loose end that isn't as neatly tied as a Christmas bow."
— Scott Bowles, USA Today
"...piles coincidence upon misunderstanding upon mishap, with the low ambition and slack energy that's become a Sandler trademark."
— Keith Phipps, Onion AV Club
"The people in this movie are dumber than a box of Tinkertoys. One fears they're so unfortunate it's not Politically Correct to laugh at them. That's not a problem because Just Go With It is so rarely funny."
— Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times
"...a cinematic cranial drill..."
— Kyle Smith, New York Post
