First Look at Twilight Star Kellan Lutz as Poseidon in Immortals

Way back in May 2010 we got our first looks at Henry Cavill, Mickey Rourke and Freida Pinto as Theseus, King Hyperion and Phaedra, respectively, in Indian director Tarsem Singh's (The Cell, The Fall) new swords-and-sandals fantasy epic, Immortals (formerly War of the Gods). Now, we have our first look at Twilight heartthrob Kellan Lutz as the Greek god of the sea, Poseidon.
Immortals takes place after the mythological Titanomachy, a 10-year war between the Titans and Olympians fought long before the existence of mankind. When Titan Hyperion (Rourke) declares war on humanity, the Olympians are forced to stand on the sidelines in accordance with ancient laws. Even so, Olympian Zeus (Luke Evans) chooses not to remain idle, picking a human peasant named Theseus (Cavill) to defend humanity by tasking him with recovering the Epirus Bow, a powerful weapon created by the Olympian Ares (Daniel Sharman) that has the power to free the rest of the Titans from Tartarus, before Hyperion.
Immortals was written by Charley and Vlas Parlapanides. The cast includes Stephen Dorff as Stavros, John Hurt as Old Zeus, and Isabel Lucas as Athena.
