Sherlock Holmes 2 Gets a Title, Plus Two Explosive "Spy Videos" from the French Set

Last week was the week of TV spots and teaser trailers, with the commercial breaks during the Super Bowl crammed with 30-second spots for upcoming "popcorn movies," and comic book movie fans getting their first looks at footage from both Captain America: The First Avenger and X-Men: First Class. This week, it's apparently all about titles. On Monday, it was revealed that The Amazing Spider-Man is the title of director Marc Webb's franchise reboot. Now, director Guy Ritchie's sequel to Sherlock Holmes has a new title, as well.
E! Online first broke the news that the title of the sequel will be Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows and MTV subsequently verified the title with Warner Bros. E! Online called the new title "lame" and many fans have already expressed their displeasure with the title in fan forums and chat rooms. What do you think? Both videos capture a big, smoky explosion—reminiscent of the scene in the first Sherlock Holmes in which Dr. Watson (Jude Law) is badly injured—and one of the videos even has a quick shot of title star Robert Downey Jr..
