Mel Gibson has reached a plea deal in the domestic violence case against Oksana Grigorieva that will keep him out of jail, but will likely involve probation and anger management counseling. Meanwhile, Gibson's extortion case against Grigorieva was thrown out by Los Angeles County DA's Office.
Lindsay Lohan is adamantly rejecting any plea deal in her jewelry theft case because it would involve six months of jail time. The alternative is to take the case to trial where, if convicted, LiLo could face a year in prison for grand theft. Last night Entertainment Weekly aired jewelry store surveillance footage showing LiLo leaving Kamofie & Co. wearing the necklace while an employee holds the door open, smiling.
The "Who is that cute girl Ryan Reynolds is hanging out with?" mystery is over, as the woman he was spotted with in South Africa last week has been identified as 25-year-old German model Agnes Fischer. The 35-year-old Reynolds will have his hands full, as Fischer says she does "running, cycling (race & mountain bike), scuba-diving, climbing, snowboarding, skiing, inline-skating, yoga, and aerobics" to stay in shape.
Actor and rapper 50 Cent is the latest member of the Gaddafi Concert Donation Club and says he will donate to Unicef money he was paid for a 2005 concert at the Venice Film Festival. There are still several other stars who have not responded to reports they were paid for appearances or performances at Gaddafi events, including Lionel Richie, Timbaland, Enrique Iglesias, Jay-Z, Lindsay Lohan, and Jon Bon Jovi.
Julianne Moore will star as Sarah Palin in HBO's adaptation of Game Change, the bestselling book about John McCain's 2008 presidential run.
Charlie Sheen's pick to replace him on Two and a Half Men, Rob Lowe, will not be leaving Parks and Recreation, according to that show's executive producer Michael Schur. Meanwhile, a Sheen party pal tells Life and Style magazine that Sheen is "losing it. He's really mad about the show, and dealing with the kids and Brooke is getting to be too much. Charlie is a ticking time bomb, and we all fear he could do something drastic like committing suicide or falling back on hard drugs."
If it's any consolation, TeamSheen's opening for a social media intern has received 74,040 applications from people in 181 countries.
