Feel The Hangover 2: New Images, Details From the Cast, Cameos Debunked

Last month, a teaser trailer for the upcoming sequel The Hangover 2 debuted, claiming "the Wolfpack is back" and showing Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis walking up a street of Bangkok, Thailand, with a monkey in tow but without Justin Bartha, the groom lost in the original Hangover. In the recently released photos in Empire Magazine (via The Playlist), Bartha is also not pictured, something Bartha says is nit indicative in the sequel.
Doug isn’t lost in this one. There are similar circumstances, but he’s a little bit more involved..
Not at all involved in the Wolfpack are the rumored cameos of former President Bill Clinton and Charlie Sheen. Last week, director Todd Phillips told Entertainment Weekly that Clinton, who was in Bangkok to make a speech, did have dinner with the cast and stopped by the set, but won't have a cameo in the movie.
He stopped by the set because the Secret Service guys were like, "Hey, that would be fun on the way out of town to stop by a movie set," but you can’t control what somebody writes on the Internet.
As for the rumor about Sheen, who did a cameo for Phillips' Due Date, the director was even more indignant that it was false.
Somebody on some tiny little site made something up that said Charlie Sheen was in talks for Hangover 2 and then it gets picked up on every other site as a fact. It’s not true. It’s so frustrating.
What is also frustrating is the lack of details about the sequel. While the Thailand location is known to be used as the Wolfpack goes to celebrate Stu's (Helms) wedding, the rest is a mystery. In the Empire interview, Cooper joked, "I’m delighted by the developments in Alan and Phil’s relationship... It gets tremendously physical! What you think is the punchline is actually the setup."
Helms was also no help, adding, "You’ll see demons in Stu that will shake every fiber of your being."
Bartha, at least, assured those wondering about the sequel curse that The Hangover 2 will deliver.
Well your first instinct is to think "Sequel—sh**ty version of the first film out to make money." But as soon as that thought entered my head, I remembered: this is a movie written and directed by Todd Phillips with the cast and crew of The Hangover.
