Last week, writer/director Michael J. Bassett's (Solomon Kane) sequel, Silent Hill: Revelation 3D reportedly added newcomers Adelaide Clemens (X-Men Origins: Wolverine) and British actor Kit Harington (HBO's Game of Thrones) to the cast alongside the returning Sean Bean (Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring). In a press release, Silent Hill's Radha Mitchell and Deborah Kara Unger were also announced to be returning for the sequel. Said Bassett in the press release:
It wouldn't be the same without some of the original Silent Hill cast. Sean, Radha and Deborah's return will certainly thrill fans of the franchise and compliment Revelations stars Adelaide and Kit.
Revelations is currently shooting in Toronto, and, as Bassett has previously revealed, will "remain true to the plot of game 3". The sequel stars Clemens as Konami video game character Heather Mason, who has been on the run with her father for years, but when he disappears, Heather learns that she is not who she thinks she is. Added cinematographer Maxime Alexandre (The Crazies): "Devotees will finally be able to enter this realm along side of Heather, [Father] Vincent, Harry [Mason] and Rose and experience the psychological horror and the fear of the unknown with them."
Revelation is still without a release date, though another new image has been released, which shows Mitchell presumably meeting Clemens.
