If you've had a hard time deciphering just exactly what director Zack Snyder's (300, Watchmen) new movie, Sucker Punch, is all about or what genre it fits into, you're not alone. In a new ET Exclusive from the Sucker Punch set, actor Jon Hamm admitted that he was a little bit confused about the movie himself when he was offered the role of High Roller.
They said, you know, "Would you be interested in playing this part," and I said, "Explain it to me again. What's happening exactly?" ... People think that they're coming for one movie and they get a completely different experience. That's the sucker punch.
The short behind-the-scenes video also features a look at the making of some of the action sequences, and includes commentary from actress Vanessa Hudgens, who plays Blondie. She is one of five young women held against their will in a sadistic psychiatric facility, who venture together into a fantasy world to try to find the means of escaping their real-world nightmare.
It's just such a wild ride. And I think the entire movie people are just going to be constantly taking hits to the face.
Sucker Punch was written by Snyder and Steve Shibuya and also stars Emily Browning, Jena Malone, Jamie Chung, Abbie Cornish, Oscar Isaac and Carla Gugino.
