New Sucker Punch Character Portraits, Plus a New Animated Short

Warner Bros. is turning up the promotional heat on its new genre-bending action movie debuting next week, Sucker Punch. In the last three days, we've seen the release of more than two dozen still images from the movie, an ET exclusive that contained behind-the-scenes footage of director Zack Snyder
shooting some of the green screen action, and a dark animated short that explains the origin of the zombie cyborgs that populate one of the incredible landscapes that play out in the mind of Babydoll (Emily Browning) as she searches for a way to escape from the real-world hellhole that is the Lennox House insane asylum. Now, WB has released a one-two punch (pun intended) of new Sucker Punch materials, including character portraits and an animated short.
Ten character portraits of the main characters in the movie were released exclusively to EW. Most of the portraits of the fab five femme force—Browning, Abbie Cornish, Jamie Chung, Jena Malone and Vanessa Hudgens—have previously been seen in various posters, but there are shots of Madam Gorski (Carla Gugino), High Roller (Jon Hamm) and the Wise Man (Scott Glenn) that have not been released before. There's also close-up shots of an ugly orc dude and a zombie cyborg (actors unknown), two of the types of villains that the girls face on their quest (also the featured subjects of the two animated shorts released so far—see below).
Additionally, a second animated short set in the world of Sucker Punch has been released via IGN. While the first short took place in a WWI-esque war landscape, this new short, "Dragon," from Snyder and animator Ben Hibon, is set in a medieval fantasy world complete with knights, orcs and dragons.
