A Hobo With a Shotgun is Coming For You With New Trailer and 2 Preview Clips

The title of director Jason Eisener's Hobo With a Shotgun sounds like it could have been included amongst Grindhouse's faux trailers and for good reason — it was (in Canada). Eisener first made a Hobo trailer for an international Grindhouse trailer contest that helped promote the 2007 Robert Rodriguez/Quentin Tarantino-directed double feature. After winning the contest, the trailer played during showings of Grindhouse in Eisener's native Canada, and, like Rodriguez's Machete, Hobo became a full-length movie with Rutger Hauer as the title character, who rolls into a crime-filled town and decides to clean the place up.
Hobo premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January, but was already picked up for distribution by Magnet Releasing. The movie got high praise during its Sundance debut, with HitFix calling it "unhinged fun" that is "gleefully deranged," while Moviefone described it as a "breath of fresh, sleazy air."
While Hobo won't reach theaters until May, it is already on VOD, with a new trailer and clip to help promote it.
In the preview clip from MTV, Hauer is interrogated in a police station after rescuing a prostitute, and exposes the truth about the corrupted town of F*** Town.
Yahoo!'s preview clip shows Hauer's delivery room speech from the trailer, this time uninterrupted.
