Keanu Reeves Updates Progress on Bill & Ted 3 and 47 Ronin

Keanu Reeves has been talking about a third Bill & Ted movie since last September, when he revealed that screenwriters Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon were "going to try and see if they can write something" worthy of a sequel.
In January, Reeves said the sequel would see Theodore "Ted" Logan (Reeves) and Bill S. Preston, Esq. (Alex Winter) still trying to save the world in the present day with "a lot of time-traveling" involved.
In a recent interview with MTV, Reeves revealed that a Bill & Ted 3 script was "six weeks away" from completion, adding: "No pressure, guys!"
While Reeves admitted he hasn't seen the script that was "six weeks away," the actor did offer "a little bit" about what a sequel to 1989's Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and 1991's Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey would entail.
When we last got together, part of it was that Bill and Ted were supposed to have written the song that saved the world, and it hasn't happened. So they've now become kind of possessed by trying to do that. Then there's an element of time and they have to go back.
Of course, Reeves could be wrong. "But I don't know — the fellas went off and cooked it up," said Reeves. "I don't know what happened when they put the elements together."
Reeves' next project is the 3-D feudal epic 47 Ronin, which follows the actor leading a group of samurais in exacting revenge against a court official who forced their master to commit suicide. In a separate MTV interview, Reeves described the movie as "kind of a Western".
I call it a story of revenge and impossible love. And I play an outsider, a kind of half-breed with a mysterious past named Kai, who's in love with the princess and she's in love with me, but we can't be together because, you know, I'm marginalized. But during the course of events, during this kind of journey of revenge, things change.
47 Ronin was written by Chris Morgan (Wanted) and directed by newcomer Carl Eric Rinsch. Production began last month, and Reeves has already taken part in some action scenes. "[I] just finished a sword fight a couple of weeks ago with a great actor named Hiroyuki Sanada (Sunshine, Speed Racer)," admitted Reeves.
