Script for Les Grossman Movie Finished

Saturday Night Live actor Bill Hader has become the unofficial spokesperson for Paramount's upcoming movie about Les Grossman, the foul-mouthed, movie producer character Tom Cruise played in the 2008 comedy, Tropic Thunder. The studio announced the movie last summer, after Cruise reprised the character for the MTV Movie Awards. Weeks later, Hader revealed he was looking forward to reprising his role as Grossman's verbally abused assistant, Rob Slolom.
In a recent interview with MTV, Hader revealed that the script, written by Scott Pilgrim vs. the World screenwriter Michael Bacall, is finished and that "he's told me some really funny scenes from it."
I just know the broad strokes. Michael just telling me, "I just wrote this scene where blah, blah, blah" and I'm like, "Oh, that's funny, man!" It's gonna be great.
What the movie will be about and when it will be made is unknown, as Cruise is busy training with Axl Rose's voice trainer for director Adam Shankman's (Hairspray) upcoming musical Rock of Ages and is rumored to be one of MGM's top candidates to play the lead in their much-delayed Robocop remake that Jose Padilha (Elite Squad) was hired to direct last month.
