James Wan Says Another Saw Movie Is Inevitable

Saw 3D was marketed as "the Final Chapter" in the perennial horror movie franchise, but fans have still been wondering whether another Saw movie will get made, especially after Saw 3D grossed $135 million worldwide.
IGN caught up with James Wan, the director of the first Saw and an executive producer on all of the sequels, and asked him if he thought another sequel might be produced one day. Surprise, Wan thinks there will be.
You can always count on capitalism, guys. That's all I have to say. I mean, like, it is finished — for now — but the fact that it's such a huge, well-known franchise means that it's gonna eventually come back at some point. [Saw screenwriter and franchise executive producer] Leigh [Whannell] and I have very little to do with it, but that's not to say that the studio will not want to bring it back, and hopefully they can bring it back with something really cool.
Whannell and Wan's latest horror movie, Insidious, is currently playing in theaters, but did reveal what it would take for the duo to return to the Saw series and their answers were pretty similar.
